    Lost my Alexandrite stone out of my ring, they were going to charge for another stone and the claws . Paid a small fortune for the ring , only to be charged for poor craftsmanship Just as I figured with their lame reply , I will never find my stone it could be anywhere. I own several rings with no issues , especially with stones falling out. They are quick to get your money .I am heart broken with the stone now lost because of their shoddy workmanship and this jeweler has made things ******** not recommend

    We are sorry you are unhappy with your shopping experience. The sale of this ring was over two years ago. We have not had an opportunity to inspect this ring since the original pick update over two years ago. Even paid warranties from chain stores require an inspection every six months or the warranty is void. While we can't offer a free repair we would like to find a solution. If you would like to visit us with your ring, we can offer a new gemstone and resetting at 50% off our regular price. We hope you find this a satisfactory solution. Thank you for your review.

    Why did they not offer this solution at the time ? I own other rings for quite some time now with the stones still intact , have not been asked to return to the store , unfortunately the Alexandrite was the most expensive. I will not be going to Kens ,, they have lost my trust in them .

    Unfortunately you did not wish to discuss any pricing options as you did want a free repair, so a solution was not an option. If you check other jewellery stores they will also need a customer to return to their store for routine ring inspections to continue to offer warranty. We offer this service free of charge and comes with a clean polish at the same time. This item had no manufacturing defects such as, the head that holds the gem being detached from the ring or a claw breaking away from the setting. The high point of the ring in this case the claws holding it are worn down and should be refurbished. The gem in this case alexandrite is far softer than a diamond and can be chipped or broken.
