Dear Better Business Bureau,I am writing to formally lodge a complaint against Great Canadian Oil Change due to a significant issue that arose following their service on my vehicle. On February 7th, I had my car's oil changed at their establishment. They used 15w 40 oil, which is far too thick for this time of year, resulting in my car not running. Despite my concerns, the management is denying that the oil is the cause, even though its consistency is akin to caramel. According to specifications, they should have used 10w 30 oil. While my car ran on the 7th, it failed to start on the 8th and has not been functional since. I contacted their head office to lodge a complaint, but was only redirected to the store manager. The manager insisted that the oil used was correct, which is untrue. They are refusing to rectify the situation by changing the oil and are dismissing my concerns, which may have resulted in damage to my ********** a result, I've been forced to take cabs to work for the last 14 days at a cost of $50 per day, totaling over $600 out of pocket. Despite reaching out to their head office, I have only received unfulfilled promises of a callback. When a callback did occur, it was merely the store manager again, denying any ***************** vehicle was functioning perfectly prior to the oil change, and the day after, it stopped working entirely. I feel disrespected and neglected by their customer service and management team.I kindly request your assistance in resolving this matter. I believe that Great Canadian Oil Change should be held accountable for their negligence and be responsible for correcting their mistake.Thank you for your attention to this issue.Sincerely,****** ******
