    Purchased on May 14th 2024 for approximately 3800.00.Unit ****** Generator) failed to operate reliably, within 4 days of purchase. Unable to contact dealer due to holiday- compelled to purchase acompetitor replacement on May 16th. Attended dealer on May 21st, salesperson advised that it was "challenging " to get a refund as the dealer, not ***** was responsible for the refund but would start process. Was asked to send info from online regarding refund policy-did so. Owner stated they "stand behind product " and referenced bigger items being returned within 30 days. ****** subsequently denied responsibility, deffered to ***** who advised dealer was in fact responsible for refund as they "own" the product and case escalated. ***** attempts to contact dealer unsuccessful, multiple attempts. Dealer not responding to me, despite requesting status of "repair " as they held the product.

    As you can clearly see on our bill of sale that the customer attached, it clearly states all sales are final.  This doesn't have to go any further than that.  If you need to see a signed copy of the bill of sale with the customers signature on it and ours I can provide you with that. 

    We are not Costco.  There are no refunds or returns.  ************ has been in contact with us and as they told the customer there is no refunds as per their guidelines and ours.  

    She found the ************** Online return policy online before she purchased another generator from Princess **** which does not apply in *******

    I am rejecting this response because:

     

    I made attempts to communicate with you about this. As did ***** beginning on May 29th. They tried to call you several times as did I. 

    You will also note, that I messaged you on May 29th to determine status with no response. 

     

    I received conflicting information from your salesperson who, upon returning with the unit to request a refund, stated it "can be done" but that the "store eats the cost"

    It was only when you (I assume *********************) became involved that this appeared to change. This was further evidenced by your first text response regarding the validity of information I located wherein you asked where I " intended to send this information "

     

    I followed your direction and contacted ***** who, while they agreed the site information I had identified regarding Refunds was a US site and irrelevant in this case, he disagreed with your position that you were incapable of issuing refunds on ***** products as you in fact "owned" the product. 

     

    Finally, the return policy was further contradicted by ********************* (owner) who after I asked about what might occur with a bigger item such as a side by side was told (with *********************** as witnesses) that you " stand by" your products and there is a 30 day guarantee.

     

    It seems your response was only compelled by the BBB complaint that was recently submitted as a result of this situation which is very disappointing. Particularly given your response that seems to imply that such a route was un-neccesary.

     

    I acknowledge the invoice states "all sales final" and this was reiterated in the respondents response. However, given the contradictory information provided by both the product distributor(***** Canada) the respondent(s) themselves and the general lack of communication(as provided in initial evidence ) on this matter, I am rejecting the response and requesting the aforementioned points be addressed.

    There is no point in continuing this discussion.  Our bill of sale clearly states "All Sales Final".  There are no returns, plain and simple.  

    Also, ***** did call and I spoke to them and they asked what our return policy was and I informed them of the same.

    The respondent has refused to address any of the points presented in the previous response, deferring,  ad nauseum, to "policies" that they repeatedly contradicted. 

    The text communication (in evidence) only resetablished in proximity with the commencement of this process where, the overall tone was slightly different but the position has not changed.

    This business has established a pattern of contradictory statements and unethical business practice that we wish to be on public record.

    I am done wasting my time on this. 

    Again, see the bill of sale.  It is VERY, VERY, VERY, VERY, VERY CLEAR "ALL SALES FINAL"

    Just because you aren't getting the answer you want doesn't change the fact that our dealership policy and ************** policy is no returns and again, as our bill of sale clearly states "ALL SALES FINAL" .  It is even in all cap locks and bold print for this very reason. 

    Just because you went onto **************** website, found their online purchase return policy, which even if we were in the ** wouldn't matter in this case as this was something purchased in the dealership not online and then you proceeded to purchase another generator from Princess **** I believe you said thinking you could return the one you purchased from **, without even looking at your bill of sale.  That is not our fault, it is yours.
