On 17th Nov I booked an appointment to have my trucks engine stall issue repaired, date of booking was 30th Nov.I made it clear whilst making my booking I wasn't from ******************* and needed to get back to Quesnel with my dog ASAP. I am supposed to be flying back to ** on the 29th Dec from ********.I took my truck in on 29th Nov and spoke with *****, gave a detailed description of the issue and my situation. He accepted truck for repair.I called on Dec 8th and ***** told me he hadn't begun work on it yet.I received a call on Dec 13 from ***** again stating no work had been attempted and that he was leaving for Christmas. I arranged with him to keep my vehicle there until it was repaired and would try to arrange alternative transportation.I received a call on Dec 15th from Franks son, the registered business owner. He was aggressive, as if I was inconveniencing him, and told me he wasn't going to do the work at all, that he wasn't a storage operator and that my truck was to be removed from his lot ASAP or he would dump it on the street. I removed my truck from their lot on 18th Dec, brand new battery was flat.I waited 4 weeks to be told they wouldn't do the work, truck shouldn't have been taken if they were too busy, I was clear about the situation I was in. They have caused me a great deal of inconvenience, I could have had my truck towed home for less than the $4000aprx I've spent on accommodation waiting for them to do nothing. Now it is the xmas holidays there is no availability for anyone to fix my truck until later in new year, my **** expires January 6 and I have to get my dog home. Airlines or train won't allow my dog so my only option is a $2000 tow back to Quesnel if I am even able to arrange that before the 29th. Franks needs to know the consequences of their unprofessional-ism and the thousands of dollars they have cost me.They have made false representation of services they provide. They breached their verbal contract with me and now I am stuck.
