I am unhappy with the service and quality of product provided by Vancouver Cabinets. My general contractor sub-contracted them to install cabinets and laminate countertops in my kitchen (note that they then sub-contracted the countertops to *************************************, ******, **). I was quoted $8300 for the cabinets and counters and installation. Sept 4 Vancouver Cabinets was informed of my counter choice Sept 14 - Ripped my ******************************* out (myself) on Sept ******************************************************************* a week and a half Sept 19 15 days after informing of my counter choice I am told that counters were on backorder until Sept 30. They offered to install different laminate but only gave a choice from the same few standard samples I had previously rejected so I said no.Sept 24 original date for counter install (didnt happen due to the ordering issues)Oct 2 counters installed but missing a piece due to mistake in cutting. Delay as new piece ordered.Oct 15 counter install completed (3 week delay from original counter install date)Oct 29 due to counter delays reno completed 45 days after start Due to the issues & delay with the counters, I was unable to use my kitchen for much of the 3 week period as I had no water/dishwasher/counters. On top of that, the cabinets had many issues such as dents, dust in the finish, unevenly hung and spots missing paint. Although the installers came back to correct the issues and replace some doors, they still did not fix all the issues that had been agreed to and my general contractor had to eventually finish them on their behalf. All of this meant that I also couldn't use many of my cupboards during this time as well. As compensation for the issues of the cabinets and counters, Vancouver Cabinets offered to take only $200 off of their invoice. I don't think this is enough for causing such a long delay and making my kitchen unusable while waiting for the issues to be fixed.

      Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.  ****, the ******* store manager offered a more appropriate deduction for the cabinet and counter issues which I have accepted.
