Our building has been waiting for a service call for several weeks. The appointment keeps getting rescheduled by Richmond Elevator despite people having been trapped in the elevator. The elevator has now been shut down for our safety. This situation is negatively affecting people who are moving and have limited ability to use the stairs.

No wonder why their reviews are so bad. They cannot even drive properly. Their techs drive so erratically on the bridge sometime super fast like 7x sometimes super slow like 3x to initiate a road rage probably If u cannot even handle a simple vehicle, I wonder how people can trust u to fix the elevator

*een a customer for 7 years. Let me be clear - the guys who do my maintenance are great. My complaint is about management - their apparent indifference to customers; their archaic management systems; and their under-trained/ qualified staff. I asked about electronic payment of invoices years ago - no response. I asked about electronic billing (vs ************ years ago - no response. About a year ago, I had contact with some senior person in accounting and asked again for the above, particularly Interac ********** for payments. Sure, he said, I can do that. *ut their Interac account was set up to require a password. After successfully navigating Richmond Interac for .... 2 months, I ran into the inevitable snags. Ms. ** contacted me to say a transfer of funds I paid failed because she used a wrong password. This was some time after I had sent the payment. Could I send it again? Yes, but only if you complete the transaction immediately. So I sent it again and she fulfilled her part. My bank charged me a $5 fee for Richmond's error. The next quarterly billing was much the same. I was billed on Apr 10th and paid via Interac on Apr 12th. Richmond did not complete the transaction and Interac contacted Richmond on May 1 saying they had to complete the transaction by May 11th. Interac's e-mail was forwarded to Mr. * who contacted me for a password on May 10th. I gave it to him, but still he did not complete the transaction. My bank charged me $5 for Richmond's failure. It took Richmond another 2 months to figure out that they did not have my payment. So I asked Richmond to set their Interac to "auto deposit" avoid problems with passwords. That was July 12th. I contacted them on July 19 about their nonresponse and was told that they forwarded my e-mail to "accounts receivable. Unfortunately he is away for a week." Now July 31 - still no reply. I'm close to being finished with Richmond and am actively looking for a replacement. A+ ratting...no way!

Our building is 5 years old. Since Richmond Elevator service our building. I have notice that elevators are broke down more often and it took longer to repair.Recent incident occurred in *** June. Our building have total three elevators. One of them broke down for four weeks. During this period, ****** asked for ETA but none given. Then four weeks later one more elevator broke down. The entire building now has one single elevator to serve over 300 households. Seniors and children were line up to 20~40 people in the lobby to wait for the one and only elevator. The elevator was so crowded. I let my family get in and I walked up 15 floors of stairs to get back home.On their website they said they are open 14/7. However when there is an urgent issue they said they will send a technician by the end of next day. No specific time indicated.Technical Safety TSBC issued Richmond Elevator a warning of safety back in 2010. Why they are still in business anyway?************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************

Absolutely disappointed in their service. I have purchased a condo in a new building and since the day we have moved in , the one an only elevator has been a huge problem. Representatives from this business visited us and reassured us that the issue will be fixed. Fast forward 2 months, our elevator stops working 2 to 3 times a day still and the representative has stopped answering our text messages. Every time we call for a tech to come and fix it, we are threatened with charges of we call after hours even though we were promised we will not be charged until the issue is fixed. We have residents with mobility issues. This business is aware of that and they are still refusing to give us a clear answer about the repair. We truly hope that they will fix this problem as soon as possible and apologize to our residents for all the pain caused by their business.
