    On June 22nd, 2024, I bought a pack of colx seed at ******************************************* **** 120-4551 ************************************************* Phone #: ************. This place specializes in food from ******. Because I had experienced moldy colx seed before, I opened the bag and smelled it right after paying. Unfortunately, it smelled strongly of mold again.I went to customer service, and a man who claimed to be the manager refused a return because it was opened. I showed him the grains that turned black, but he insisted on no return. He told me to take it home and take as many pictures as I liked. *****, I left it with him.I have pictures of the product and grains turned black. The item I bought was at regular price and within the expiry date. As I remembered, the expiration date was Nov, 2024.

    The lady who purchased the bag of ***************** Colx Seed (Job's Tears) 300g.  She opened the package and said it smells weird.

    Our company's refund and exchange policy require original receipt and original packaging. For opened package we can't do any refund or exchange.

    Our assistant manager also took a look at the product and it looks and smells normally. 

    The lady wasn't satisfy with the answer and demanded a refund on all the items. Which our manager refunded the unopen package.

    Our assistant manager also asked the lady to take the opened package with her and she can ask around.

    She simply threw the package on the table and left with an unsatisfied emotion.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    When I first opened the package in front of the cashier, I immediately noticed a moldy smell. I asked the cashier to verify it, but she dismissed it, saying it's normal for it to smell bad. Some of the grains had already turned black. She directed me to speak with customer service.

    The assistant manager, whom claimed as  the store manager, was unhelpful and had a bad attitude. Instead of advising me to consult with someone else, he curtly told me to take it home if I wanted to take pictures. This has been the worst supermarket experience I've had in ******. It's no surprise they have so many expired itemsjust check their ****** reviews and you'll see many others have had similar experiences. Business like this wont survive.
