    For three years I rented an apartment at one of the properties owned and managed by this company. This is by far the most poorly managed property *** lived in. The property managers are unresponsive, do not maintain the property and simply do not care about the tenants. On four separate occasions I had water raining down into my apartment from leaks in the ceiling. My urgent texts and photos of the issue were always ignored at least 24 hours. The first time this happened they were ignored for months. At one point there was rain water coming out of an entrance ceiling light fixture. The heating is terribly inefficient. I would spend most winter mornings and evenings near my space heater or with my oven on in.There was insufficient garbage and recycling bins for the building. Mounds of garbage would pile up, so much so that I could barely access the bins. Forcing me to contribute to the ever-growing pile. I was told to store my garbage and recycling in my unit space frees up. A tenant should not have to live with their garbage because of a property managers inability to provide adequate garbage and recycling bins. Minimal, if any snow removal around house and driveway - making it impossible to access the front of the house via car when heavy snowfall would happen. Another tenant took it upon themselves to shovel and salt the entrance for the other tenants. There are holes in the ceiling and floors that have not been repaired in years, there is one section of ceiling in the main area that has dirt, leaves and debris falling out of it constantly. There are poorly maintained wooden stairs all around the house, one tenant informed me they had to repair the stairs themselves as they would break when they would try to enter their unit. In the three years I rented from this company there was not a single inspection of smoke detectors within the house or my unit. The housing crisis in ********* allows for property managers such as this to thrive.
