Feb 24/23, myself and three girlfriends, rented a suite. We were to attend a show that evening, at the hotels venue. This is a room they charge hundreds of dollars for. We arrived early, and asked if we could check in before 4pm. The room was not available, nor could we sit in lounge to wait, as their lounge doesnt open til 4;30 on a Friday. They stored our luggage in a locked room, and we waited. I got back inline at about 3:40 as there was a long line already forming. Finally getting to the front, I asked the shift manager why she was only one behind desk at checkin time on a Friday? She told us they had a large staff meeting that day, so were short on staff. Then she advises us that our room is STILL not ready. We again waited for another 20min, to be told our room wouldnt be ready til 5pm. That they would be sure to take our luggage to our room for us. We had a 5pm reservation for supper. We couldnt get changed out of our travel clothes or get ready for dinner. The shift manager told us they would give us 70percent off room. We get back to hotel after being embarrassed at the restaurant., finally receive our hotel keys, to find out our luggage had not been taken to our rooms. We go up to room to find personal belongings in supposed clean room. Trying to make the best of a very frustrating situation, we got ready, and went to show. Once in the venue, there was a middle aged man in a purple jacket, claiming to be the boss, that was very rude, moving people wherever he saw fit, as the seats sold on Ticketmaster, were not the same seating arrangement upon arrival. Half hour into the show, three women show up. The man in purple jacket moved two people from up front, and said these women could go there. One of my friends said, could you please sit down, we cant see. The one lady turned around, giving us the finger, and called us white b***ches! When we reported this to security guard. Nothing was done! I asked for full comp in the morning. General manager refused!
