    The sale of our property finalised on 1 November 2022. The hold-back was $666.66 for potential Strata fee increase (Sept-Oct 2022). The property had their *** on 3rd November 2022. The Property Management Company has advised me that they will send the relevant information to Liu & Yang on 1 December 2022. Today is the 8 December 2022, and our lawyer is still waiting for the hold-back to be refunded. Why the delay???

    Thanks for bringing this matter to our attention.
    However, we do not have any business relationship with Mr. ******. He is not represented by our firm with regards to the sale of his property. If he has any concerns or complaints, he should be bringing it to his lawyer who is chosen by him to protect his rights and advocate for him. 

    Please have Mr. ****** contact his lawyer directly to inquire on the status of the holdback.

    I am rejecting this response because: 

    My lawyer said that he was waiting for Liu & Yang to release the funds as you can note from my attachment. The transaction is complete and they have no reason to hold back.

    Please check with your lawyer regarding the holdback. Again, he is your representative and not us. If you have any concerns, please raise it to your representative that you have chosen and paid his lawyer fee to protect your interest. 

    FYI - the money has ALREADY been released to your lawyer in trust.

    Buyer's lawyer mentions that the hold back has been sent to the seller's lawyer. Seller's lawyer claims that he does not have it yet. Someone is not telling the truth. * ***** **** ** ******** ** ** * ************ ********** ******.
