    I have been a long time customer at this business normal going at night time to practice at the driving range. I was on the far end because it’s been fairly busy. This time around they turn off all the light right at closing before everyone has left the facility. It’s pitch black inside and there are low unmarked brown fences inside. I almost trip over trying to get my golf gear back in my bag in the dark. It’s very dangerous going from fully lite to pitch dark. The person on attending that day also lock the door right away before I could get out. I complained to him and his response was if you don’t like it go somewhere else. I can tell you the guy is new and started insulting us for not being able to get our stuff in the dark. They claim because the have lights on the stairwell it conforms to safety standards if the ground floor is pitch black

    Hello ******,

    My name is ********. I am apart of the management team at Savage Creek. We received your letter from the BBB, and we thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. Unfortunately we received the notice from the BBB after the response deadline, so I was unable to respond online through their website- this is why I am emailing you directly.

    We are very sorry to hear of your bad experience at Savage Creek- we always strive to give all of our patrons excellent customer service, along with ensuring that the premise is always safe for all patrons to use. The way that the staff member spoke to you when you tried to address the issue on-site was not up to our customer service standards at all.

    I am hoping that you are able to provide me with the date and approximate time of this incident so that we can address it with the particular staff member directly to ensure that this does not happen again.

    Moving forward, we will be implementing a closing shift policy for all staff to follow. This policy will highlight the following, in order:
    Giving all customers a 30-minute closing warning at approximately 9:30 PM over the existing built-in PA system that services the entire range; this announcement will let customers know that it is last call for range *****, and that the driving range will be closing in approximately 30 minutes (10:00 PM);
    Doing a physical walk-through of both upper and lower level range stalls, as well as stairwells, to ensure all patrons have safely exited the building;
    Proceeding to shut off lights and lock up doors upon the staff member exiting the building themselves, again ensuring that all patrons have exited the building safely.
    We believe that implementing this closing shift policy will help to ensure safety for all, and prevent an incident like this from happening again in the future.

    We hope that you will continue to be a valuable customer of *********************************************, and we appreciate you taking the time to share your experience so that we are able to improve.

    If you have further concerns, or have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.

    I have copied my colleague ******* here, as well as ***************************, Marketplace Specialist, from the BBB.

    Kind regards,

    *************;
    Savage Creek Golf Course
