      Stair lift was ordered in December or '21.Spotty operation. At least 4 call outs for service...Exorbitant service fee charges.Remember, these are mostly for seniors!Do not buy stair lifts from HME!

      The company comes across as super friendly and gets patients to trial their products, so nice of them.Then pressures the elderly into buying their overly inflated products.Or offers to rent them out at a ridiculous rate per month, like 1/5 of the chairs coast per month, and it is not a rent to own.Very sad that when a loved one is the end of their life, these people are taking advantage of them.

      Extremely poor workmanship , once they have your money they simply do not care about safety at all , had a ***** deck elevator installed , was delivered damaged , them multiple times out to repair it , then there contractors work extremely unsafe with the outside electrical box filled with water twice , now discovered the second level wall post installed was never anchored to the deck , now moving in and out 3-4 inches, not looking at warranty as it just expired but to have it correctly installed safely from the beginning, lift is only 3 years old at a cost of ****** , so absolutely beware of this corporate ******** branch as they absolutely do not care about the elderly at all !!

      Absolutely not acceptable at all considering I payed you ****** plus ****** to install, absolutely shameful you clearly are not concerned about your faulty unsafe work installation from day one , this is not a faulty part but a extremely poor installation, first the outside electrical box has filled twice with water now Ive discovered the installed support wall was never anchored properly causing the post , wall and door to move freely, shameful that once you have full payment your company has zero concerns regarding safety!

      This company scammed us for $380.95... We rented a manual lift and had this lift for less than a week... It was hard to maneuver it around the bedroom and I could not get it out of the bedroom as it was too bulky, my partner was the one on the lift and hated it... I asked them to take it back a few days later and the *** came to pick it up... They charged us for a whole month and would NOT refund us anything back... They decided to keep a full month of $380.95 for a few days... I will never do business with this company again.. I am currenly setting up a legal case against them. Please do NOT do business with this company.

      Hello ****, we appreciate your feedback regarding your recent experience with your rental through HME. Here at HME, we strive to make sure our customers have the best experience possible, and we take it seriously when someone is not happy with our service. With that said, we only rent our equipment on a monthly basis, and we do not offer daily or weekly rental terms. Your rental required the same amount of effort and time in delivery and pick up to and from your location as any other customer doing a rental with us. It is because of this we were not able to offer you a refund for this service.

      Well you should offer a trial period in case your equipment is not what the customer needs... We had your lift for less than a week and you decided to keep the full monthly rental of $380.95... Anyone reading this will know that this seems scammy and it also gives anyone else who is contemplating on renting with you people a serious look at renting with you at all. It doesn't matter that you only have monthly rentals and that is what you changre for, it doesn't matter what jargon or words you use to explain this. You people took advantage of the situation... I have a lawsuit against your company and I will also let others know what you did on taking advantage of a senior citizen who only has a small pension and could hardly afford your lift to begin with. You want to play games then give us back your lift and we can let it sit here for the duration of the full month. Then you can come and pick it up again and also drop it off, otherwise stop playing games and give us back our money you decided to keep for free because of your BS terms. I have been a healthcare worker in this industry for over 37 years and I know many clients who rent your equipment, and that will change soon when word gets out.

      Anyone wanting to purchase a wheelchair should consider other dealers/distributors. Anyone who has purchased a wheelchair from HMEBC may have not gotten the right product or may not have been properly fitted for the wheelchair. I apparently asked too many questions about wheelchairs that were priced well into the thousands of dollars. I questioned the sales reps experience with the different models from different manufacturers and also questioned the length of time it was taking to respond to email (upwards of 4 business days).They considered me to be a difficult customer but all I wanted was a proper fitting and the lightest strongest folding wheelchair and the decisions made when ordering and configuring a wheelchair will impact the weight and can have a significant effect on the function, independence and safety of the chair. Making informed decisions when ordering a wheelchair and selecting components, as well as adhering to best practice recommendations during set up, can result in functional gains for wheelchair users.None of this was experienced during the almost 7 weeks of back and forth with HME reps. **** I wanted to speak to a manager, I got an email from the manager of sales who told me to take my business elsewhere. HMEBC refused to sell me a wheelchair because I asked too many questions and found that information I was being provided was contrary to what the actual manufacturers were saying about the chairs I was interested in. Essentially they gave up and rather than deal with the challenges I obviously posed in my questioning, they decided to tell me to take my business elsewhere.I wouldn't recommend any potential wheelchair user that is in need of a better or upgraded wheelchair because they may not get what they need or, like me, be summarily dismissed for wanting more information and hoping that they would get that information accurately and in a timely fashion.

      This was only about a proper wheelchair fitting. None of the staff were either trained or cared to perform such a fitting. Instead they outright refused to sell me a wheelchair and told me to go elsewhere. Your response, being well overdue, did not address the issue at all. Your sales people did not provide accurate information and exceptional service as you point out in your response and it was clear from the first sales rep that the sale was more important than the proper fit. My requirements as you put it are standard for anyone needing a wheelchair and if that is not "aligned" with your company's day to day operations then that is a real problem. It is estimated that up to 80% of wheelchair users are in a wheelchair that is not properly fitted which can cause a myriad of stressors on the upper body, back and pelvis. Not to mention safety issues. This is unacceptable for ANY dealer selling wheelchairs and HMEBC is supposed to be one of the top choices for mobility aids. Like the people I spoke with at your local branch, your response is empty and shows nothing to resolve what should have been an informed and proper fit of a wheelchair. Because of your actions I **** ******** ******* *** will not stop until your company is brought into the light regarding this ********* treatment and a lack of responsibility to potential wheelchair users.
