    These guys are great, they always have been and continue the tradition of selling good quality gear with the best techie in the business. I have taken in many pieces of equipment for repair and they have never failed me. The whole staff is very helpful and more than willing to help you out. The last time I was there, Susan and J.R. were the same as always... great. I occasionally pop in just to check it out, see what is what.. It is dangerous sometimes as a need is created for a piece of equipment, something you have to have and lose any rational thinking... in particular a ********* ***** that Gord showed me... It was already sold.... Good God.... luckily I found one online and it has been a very solid keeper since purchased...They have a fantastic repair man and he is busy all the time.... you can never go wrong dealing with Innovative Audio....

    Told me they would sell me a set of Tannoy speakers and I said I would leave a deposit but J.R.said being a repeat customer no need we will hold them for you. Subsequently, J.R. calls me and says someone is in listening to them, when am I coming in to listen to them. I said I told you I will take them and would leave you a deposit to hold them and J.R. said I will tell the customer that they are sold. Calls me back and says they sold them to the guy in the shop. I am sure negotiated a better deal. Total BS and dishonest behavior to a multiple repeat ********* J.R. is full of ******** will never do business with these guys again. Ya vintage stereo is still in for now, but as it fades you certainly will not have me spending what would have been thousands of future dollars with your company. They really **** and the worst of it is because they totally lied to me. I could deal with bad service but this is different.

    This customer has been leaving negative reviews wherever he can on the internet.  We agree there was a miscommunication between ourselves and this customer, but he had not been in our store to complete the deal nor was any money put down as a deposit - it was a verbal conversation that he was coming in the store sometime that week. We had a sales person talking to another customer who was in the store who wanted to purchase and didn't realize that someone else was interested.  Unfortunately we sold it to the person who was there with the money in hand and this customer wasn't.  We apologized to this person but he wasn't happy, understandably.  His story changes wherever he posts and to spear our name for a deal that was talked about over the phone is going over the top.  We are a small business and this kind of tactic is very hurtful to our reputation and if customers take a look at our reviews they are all mostly 5 stars and then they can see for themselves you can't make everyone happy.

    I find it interesting that you say my story changes. Your response is not accurate *** *********. The sales person (J.R.) told me I did not need to leave a deposit and they would hold them for me due to the fact I had dealt with them before - I said I would 100% take them and offered to leave a deposit and said I did NOT need to listen to them because he asked whether I did. You also told me, when you called me later (few days later) to tell me that someone else was looking at the speakers in the store, that that customer previously left a deposit with another sales person and that he was not aware of that. During the this call he told me that he would talk to the other sales person and straighten it out and I again told you I would 100% take them. J.R. then called me back and said they were sold. I may have only previously bought 1 pair of speakers from you but you also forgot to mention that I have had several pieces of stereo equipment serviced by you, so I am in fact a repeat customer but you ************ seem to leave those details out. **** * **** **** *** ******* *** **** ******** ** ** ** ******* **** **** ******** ********* *** ******** ** ** ***** ** **** ******** ****** ***** **** ***** ** **** **** Very clear in my mind...you told me I did not need to leave a deposit and they would sell me the speakers and hold them and then turned around and sold them to another customer - in fact you even asked me when I would come in and pick them up and I told you what day - Saturday - remember J.R. or did you ************ forget that as well? I might not have been so upset except that they were rare hard to find speakers that I coveted. *** business practices period and clearly not taking full responsibility.
