    Dragonfly has a policy you can upgrade your machine by paying the difference within a year. I paid $5600 on February 16th. I pre-ordered a ***** press by ****** ($446.88)- expecting it in August. With past experience, not sure whether I will receive it. On April 14th, I purchased a stationary quilter for $8,120 but cancelled right away as the **** * machine I had ordered and promised still hadn't arrived. He did not refund my $8,120 but instead gave me a $1000 gift certificate and paid me $500 on July 5 telling me he would pay $500 each month. He said he would pay me $250 when I questioned him again (email attached below) and I never received it so I contacted ********** and provided them with the attachments below. They contacted him and suggested he do the right thing, but haven't heard from him and they cannot do anything at their end. As I thought I was getting my **** * ********** Machine at now the end of April - I purchased Software for the amount of $537.51. I was provided a loaner **** * however, haven't used it much as it reminds me how I was promised my new machine and how I feel like I have been duped. ** ******* ******** ****** **** *** "playing with fabric" is my happy place so I thought I would indulge and purchase machines ** * ** ** *** ***** *** probably the last machine I will purchase. I was not left a rich widow. I want and need my new **** * and reimbursed for the purchases I have made and not received. Sadly, I felt I had no choice but to bring this to your attention. I have always enjoyed my time at Dragonfly and have run into old friends that I knew from a quilt store that closed down. The staff are just so wonderful and helpful. Thank you for your assistance in this matter.

    Apologize for the delay in responding to this issue.

    Our store is all about honesty, quality & good old fashioned service.

    As a small business owner, communication is critical to handling situations. I was being very honest with ******, but sales over the summer sales slipped below expectations, as a result, cashflow suffered and could not act on the promise.

    I did communicate this to ******, but I knew her patience was running thin based on what she is going through.

    Since this complaint, ****** and i have talked and have made an arrangement to clear up this matter.

    ****** apologized for making the complaint, which I replied, "I let you down, and you did the right thing" I was wrong.

    I have talked to my staff about this situation and have put steps in place to avoid these situations in the future.
