    I hired genesis for asbestos removal. The job was quoted to be two weeks, and they were hired in Aug, 2021. THe job took them over 6 months because most of the time nobody showed up to work, *** ** **** **** **** **** ***** ******* ****** *** ****** **** ******* *** **** **** *** ** *****   In the process, they completely destroyed a brand new 14000 dollar bathroom without my consent or knowledge.

    On top of this, they think I owe them money, and have liened my house. I may take this directly to court to deal with.

    This client had a stop work order from as the contractor he hired originally was so incompetent that ******** would not let them continue. ******** and their consultant recommended Genesis. I do not know how long a time period between the first contractor starting, ******** inspecting and shutting down the jobsite. After many delays the customer finally hired Genesis to complete the scope of abatement and correct the issues caused by the first company. He gave us a deposit of 50% to start. We completed the work however there were delays due to the discovery of additional ACM materials. Once complete, he did not want to pay the consultant or Genesis. We liened his home and are dealing with this through the legal channels.

    The customer also complained that the consultant who is highly regarded by ****, was "childish and unprofessional." He also refused to pay their invoice. In another email, he told us the consultant was a***** ******.  These emails will be released in court.

    The ******** officer informed/advised us that this was a very difficult customer and we should consider carefully whether to accept the job.

    The customer signed our contract on August 18,2021, We mobilized to site on Aug 23 and completed the work Nov 15, 2021. Final inspection and completion letter was issued on November 29, 2021. (a little less than 3 months)

    How the customer could think that he doesn't owe us anything when he acknowledges that the deposit represented an 50% of the total quoted is also preposterous.

    The allegation of destroying a new bathroom is also false. Genesis did not set the scope of work, that was between **** and the environmental consultant. We simply followed the scope (set by others) to meet the requirements of ****.

    We have a great reputation with **** and this Consultant. This can all be verified with them. The customer is defamatory.
