      ****** customer service. There should be another natural gas company. They dont care. They only care about money they make. Horrible service. No compassion. Worst company ever.

      Advertised is 100% renewable gas which I paid for. What is not clear and hidden somewhere in the website fineprint is that you pay for 100% renewable gas but they are not delivering that. You buy into a future idea. They agree that they were not clear and assumed that I knew what I bought. I agree that I asked for 100% renewable but at no point was I made aware that I will not get what I paid for without even offering a 50% refund. I don't have a choice but staying with ******, since they are the monopol. Not a good customer experience!

      Horrible Service and Zero Compassion for CustomersIf I could give FortisBC zero stars, I would. Their customer service is absolutely atrocious, especially when it comes to reconnecting essential services like natural gas. My household, including a child, was left without heat or hot water during winter conditions with temperatures as low as 6C. Despite making the payment after disconnection, FortisBC told me I have to wait until Monday to discuss reconnectionleaving us to endure an entire weekend in the cold and rain.I contacted their live chat, only to be told its just for balance inquiries and that no one could assist me. Their phone lines and website provide conflicting business hours, adding to the confusion and frustration. Even their so-called emergency line refuses to treat this as an emergency. How is leaving a family without heat in freezing weather not an emergency?This company has no empathy, no urgency, and no proper emergency protocol for situations like this. Do their executives have to sit in freezing homes while waiting days for basic services? I highly doubt it.FortisBC is failing its customers in every possible way. If you have any choice, avoid this company at all costs. They are happy to profit from providing essential services but show no care when their customers are in crisis.

      I had 2 gas leaks from my fireplace, and Fords was great to come right away to check the gas leak. I had my fireplace people come and fix the leak and it worked well for about a month or so. I detected another leak for this again was great to come right away and check the leak. I had my fireplace people come again to check and fix they could not get great access to where they thought that it could be coming from and asked if ***** could come to just double check to see if there was a leak after they capped my fireplace gas. My fireplace people wanted to be safe and make sure that there was no leak and so for this was to check to see if when the gas was on if there was still a leak and Fords refused to come. two supervisors were asked they said no I spoke to the manager he said no they shut the gas off thats all theyre responsible for. I had Covid a week ago Monday have no sense of smell or taste whatsoever so if they were a further leak, I could not smell it and they are not willing to come and just doublecheck that there is no leak behind the wall by request of my fireplace people. They said maybe I should get new gas fireplace people. They also suggested maybe I just not use my fireplace that is their answer. I am very concerned and he said it was to do with money. It cost money to come out to check for gas if theyve already shut the gas off and checked it he then tells me that the fellow that came to check it did say where the lake was but at the time I felt he wasnt absolutely sure and that is why I would like it checked before they try to fix it. In order to get access to where they think the leak is, they would have to take my granite off the wall and take the insert out just to possibly find out that the leak is not in the back wall, but Fords will not come to confirm that.

      Worse customer service, they disconnected our hot water without aby notice, we have a 8 months old child. What do you guys thinking, more commissions. We r paying monthly and we never had late payment. No humanity, the only thing I can say about Fortisbc. The employees are so **** and disrespect. Shame

      I'm new in Canada and I had Fortis BC for the very first time. I signed up for "equal monthly payment" and started paying $87~ and they said they will adjust the rate every 3 months. However, the bill increase in about 15 to 17 dollars every month. They HELPLESS customer service explanation was that they charge more in SUMMER so that WINTER bills will be lower ... This is a real joke and there is no way to get this fix. I can't believe they got away with this mal practice. The less gas you use the more you get bill. Worse service ever ... worse company ... not even their employees have a good opinion of the way they do business.
