    A friend recommended this business. I was quoted $45.00/hour for the replacement installation of an overhead microwave and stove fan unit. Communication around the day was poor, but I went ahead. One worker was dispatched for a two-person job. He struggled and accidentally shattered the glass top of my stove. I was calm and reassuring; he was apologetic. Replacement was confirmed at *******, so not worth it for an older model stove. I said that I would accept in compensation the replacement cost for the stovetop and cover the rest of the new stove myself. When called about the issue, the boss yelled expletives and repeatedly said, "What will this cost me?". Disturbing lack of professionalism displayed towards the worker, me and my adult child. A second person was dispatched to help, and they were able to finish the job easily with two people. The boss was coming over the money. I was asked to call him. No answer. I left a message. I told the worker I would accept 400 in compensation if that would sweeten things. He called his boss, who answered him and confirmed it.The total time in my home was 1 hour for one worker, 2 hours for two workers. The time involved installation, researching replacement, two calls with the boss, waiting for the second worker, and loading the broken stove and old microwave for disposal. The workers kindly offered to do the disposal. They were both great; no complaints about them.I joined the boss on the street, and he ignored me while verbalizing his anger to his employees. He said, "***** ** ***** **** ** *** ***** ** ** *********" He never apologized or accepted responsibility. He said, "**** ** *** **** ** ***" I said I would take the 400 to cover the stovetop and replace the stove myself. His response was, "***** **** ***** *** *************" I agreed to that, and he then gave me 200 cash. I made all the concessions and had to spend **** on a new stove (incl. warranty, delivery, and taxes) I had not budgeted for.
