    I hired B Cheema Roofing LTD to replace my roof from wood shakes to shingles and to replace gutters and downspouts as well. In the course of completing their work, a worker stepped through my ceiling causing a huge hole. I asked B Cheema roofing to call their insurance to deal with this issue. They would not! Instead they came with two workers from ??? They did not have drop clothes, they did not have insulation to replace what was knocked out. They spread drywall dust through my home and drywall mud from front door to back and up the stairs. I have photos. Also the worker dumped drywall at the side of my house ( I made him pick it up) but still messy and disrespectful After repeated attempts at a remedy I have hired another company to make the repair. I have provided a MORE than reasonable estimate to take out the repair made and replace it properly $960.00 I have not heard back from them to date. Please help me or possibly provide me some options?Not too sure what to do next. Thank you for your time. ***** *******

    Hi we have attempted to rectify this situation with the customer many times.  Initially we offered $1,000 to the customer to have his own contractor do the repairs but the customer insisted we do the repairs ..  Please note the issue with the drywall is not Cheema Roofing's fault.  The truss of the house was broken and incidentally our worker stepped on the broken truss and as per our requirement the worker was wearing a harness and was not injured.  The drywallers went in and repaired the job however there is a slight difference in color which is normal.  So the customer is unhappy. We paid $630 to the drywallers and are willing to pay $960 to the customer conclude this matter. We would like to the customer to sign off that there will be no further issues in regards to this job in exchange for a payment of $960 as he is requesting.

    Please note we have a signed certificate of completion on which the customer has declared he was happy with the job.  This was signed after the drywall work and roofing work was completed on July 28th, copy of which is attached.

    We have always responded to the customer each time he contacted us.  We can provide emails and text messages if required.  In our last communication the customer has said do not talk to him and send no one to fix any issues he has with the drywall.

    We will send pictures of the before and after for the drywall in a separate email

    I am rejecting this response because:
       I was ready to take this and go. However, now that I have read the response from Cheema Roofing **** Listened to them try to justify their actions disturbs me. Now I feel the need to retort. Cheema Roofing *** first tried to **** off the repair onto me, throwing responsibility in my lap in stead of simply calling their Insurance and dealing with this issue (part of the cost of doing business) when I declined, Cheema Roofing *** provided workers unsuitable for the job. they did not have the tools nor the skills needed to repair my home. they spread drywall from the front yard all the way up the stairs and out the back door. i had to wipe drywall mud of of everything. Not to mention all the dust throughout our home. They even tried to dump drywall at the side of my garage! (I have photos) showing all. The damage 100% caused by Cheema Roofing **** They also mentioned (out of the blue) their workers were wearing ''Fall Arrest'' Again, I took many photos of the job and did not see any safety gear with the exception of steel toe boots. Contractors that display behavior such as this should be held accountable I would like to re claim for the clean up the mess left for us by Cheema Roofing  and/or sub contractors hired by Cheema roofing *** on top of the $960 this whole thing has turned into a nightmare for my family and I.
