**** - Driver supervisor assistant manager Job Number - ******* I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding an incident involving Clover Towing in *******, **, which resulted in significant damage to my vehicle and considerable inconvenience. On Nov 6, 3 P.M, my car was towed by Clover Towing. I paid a total of $500, which included nearly $100 specifically for securing the exhaust to ensure it would not be damaged during transport. The front desk representative assured me that the exhaust had been properly secured and that the fee covered this service, i never asked for it but they charged me for it and i had to pay for it as they said we rather charge you for it than have something broken. However, upon retrieving my vehicle from the towing lot, I noticed that the exhaust was dragging on the ground after driving only a couple of meters. I managed to drive the car outside to alert the staff, and they sent a mechanic to inspect the damage. The mechanic ultimately had to remove the exhaust from the car, which had been grinding along the ground and was now broken into two pieces. My vehicle is no longer in drivable condition and has also developed an exhaust leak due to the damage.I am seeking full reimbursement for the towing fee and compensation for the cost of repairing the exhaust system,Please advise me on how to proceed with this complaint in holding Clover Towing accountable for their negligence. I am providing documentation, including receipts, photographs of the damage.I am writing this email as any kind of reimbursements was refused to me and the mechanic left the broken exhaust on the ground after taking it out and left saying i cant park the car there. All the repairs everything would have me cost about 2000 dollars from my own expense with the missed time at work and everything which is completely unfair for something i never did.Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your prompt response and guidance on next steps.
