    D Way is one of the suppliers for 1072704 BC Ltd, at 2019 during a *** audit we found out that D Way have been using our license number for purchase when we got a record of purchase from **** through our *** auditor, and Dway haven't mention anything about the “held in trust” stock until we confront them for the overpuchase.

    This liquor inventory was purchased by D Way under ******** liquor license without our authorization and knowledge. D Way has already admitted that it was their mistake of keep buying for ****** based on shipment frequency through their email of December 16, 2020 . We have all the records of our liquor orders to D Way through text messages since the opening of ****** in May 2016 till now to prove that ****** did not make those liquor orders in D Way’s inventory.

    We explained to the auditor, we did not aware of the use of our liquor license by D Way until this *** audit and the finding of the purchase discrepancy between our actual amount and the purchase statement from ** ****** ************ ****** (LDB). Furthermore, we clarified to the auditor that other than submitting a credit application to D Way for applying a credit term, we did not sign any agreement with D Way for ordering sake and/or authorizing their use of our liquor license to make purchase of liquor. However, the auditor did not accept our explanation/clarification.

    Based on the above facts that the liquor inventory of $41,986.41 at D Way’s facility does not owned by ******, the current assessment of estimated *** of $17,879.56 included the portion of $8,824.70 (per below calculation) for this inventory that ****** has not sold and earned any sales revenue yet.

    Estimated tax using Calc Markup = $41,986.41 x 2.26 x 10% = $9,488.93
    Less: Allowance for promo & cooking & other = 7% x $9,488.93 = 664.23
    Net estimated tax due for liquor inventory not sold $8,824.70

    I have contact/email D Way and try to resolve this matter but they stop replying me around December 2022, so I am now seeking help from BBB.
