Purchased a vehicle when they had first opened, within days I was at the mechanic almost daily, spent more time at the mechanic than with the car - also the mechanic they told me to go to. Less than 6 months with said car it completely stopped working, after I had shared my concerns multiple times with dealer and mechanic, I had purchased their warranty for almost 2k and nothing was covered. I told Van pre-owned I would be taking it to another mechanic for an actual check and then we could discuss what to do afterwards, he offered to take the car back and put me into another vehicle, I told him I wasn't interested in paying much more for a different car, he assured me it wouldn't be. Well, I ended up at the dealership with the car ready/paperwork and was rushed through to sign things, he charged me another $899 in admin fees, again for the 2k warranty (which I now know WAS transferrable) & told me the back bumper was just some missing paint. I was in a very tight spot and needed a car unfortunately. He used the 10k cash down payment as my trade in value & then signed me onto a $12,954 loan through a sketchy 3rd party loan company. That means a 2015 Jetta (base model) cost almost $23k? Excuse me? And also the loan says im in PEI? The loan company refused to show me any of my documents / payments and then said company went bankrupt and my loan was transferred to another company. When I reached out to see about trading in my ***** to get into a lower rate loan or something less, I asked what the trade in value would be worth towards another vehicle. He refused to answer me and so did his colleague, they just kept telling me they could get me into another vehicle but not what the the value of the Jetta would be - 10/10 SCAM and if you are a younger female, AVOID IF POSSIBLE.. he will take advantage of you. For example he is selling a 2017 VW Tiguan with less KM for around $8,999 - A newer, nicer, lower KM vehicle for over 10k less. I hope this helps future buyers!
