I purchased a wedding dress on February 1, 2025, at a sale event held by Vimo Wedding. The event that day had a lot of people, with more than 60 attendees on-site. My session also had a time limit, before I checkout, I asked the staff what would happen if the dress had any issues. The staff told me I could check after I got home, and they would handle any problems. Additionally, I saw on their website that the condition of the dress was listed as "Gown is in excellent condition," so I chose to trust them and didnt do much checking. There was also no indication at the event that the dresses were on sale due to they are used, defective, or rented out, so I assumed the dress I received was brand new. After getting home, I discovered that the dress was defective. The straps are made of four ribbons, and the cutting of these ribbons is uneven with some gaps, which is noticeably different from the cutting of the rest of the dress. Additionally, there are bloodstains and rust spots on the collar of the dress (photo attached). I suspect that this dress has either been used or altered due to a defect. When I first communicated with them, they admitted that the product had an issue and that the dress may have been rented out before. They offered free repair of the dress, stating that it was the manufacturer's problem and that the responsibility should not fall on them as the retailer. However, I still hope to receive a full refund because I dont believe they should be selling used or defective products. I also dont want to wear a dress that has been used by someone else at such an important moment in my life. The dress was a final sale, and I understand and respect their return policy, but I believe that a final sale should be based on the premise that the product is accurately advertised and free from defects. I believe they are deceiving consumers. I'm feeling really helpless right now, and I hope you can help me. Thank you for your time.
