Subject: Incident at Charlie's Currency Exchange - Assault and Seeking Justice On Sunday, March 12th, around 5pm, my 16-year-old nephew and I experienced an assault at Charlie's Currency Exchange located at ********************************* While waiting outside, we were verbally abused and physically manhandled by the owner, a man with a ponytail, despite not blocking the customer entrance or disturbing anyone's movement.I firmly asserted our right to be on the sidewalk and refused to move. Shockingly, the owner forcefully grabbed my bike and tried to shove it. In that moment, I realized he had no fear of the police, while I did. His colleague even defended his vulgar actions. To make matters worse, he directed his aggression towards my nephew, a minor.I initially wanted to let it go, but I refuse to be a victim. I will take legal action against this assault, as I refuse to allow such mistreatment by the owner or any employee of Charlie's Currency Exchange. If anyone else has experienced dehumanizing behavior from this establishment, I encourage you to speak up. This incident was an assault, and it will not be ignored.I have already reported the assault to the local authorities and have preserved evidence. I am seeking legal advice to pursue justice. I will also reach out to organizations that support victims of assault for further assistance.I refuse to let this incident define me, and I am determined to ensure accountability for the actions of this miserable individual.
