I was completely misled. I was completely unqualified for this professional training and was pressured into a late night decision on a 150$ deposit on a professional training program i was clearly unqualified for. I repeatedly told him I wasn't enrolling and was ignored after he just took my 150$ withdrawal when I wasn't ready nor even qualified for the training.

I attended the first session of the Product Management online class yesterday and I did not finish the entire class because for one, the content of the slides were copied from already available content online and they did not even mention the source - ***** **** **********, they really did not go deep into what product management is, only. The worse part was the instructor who literally just read off of the slides. The examples were very minimal and then she broke us out into groups with very little explanation. How can one learn this way? I should have researched better that this company is not based in the US, so that is red flag no. 1. I want a refund!

This is for BrainStation as an overall company. The only option on BBB's search tool was for the Vancouver, BC one. I'm filing a complaint related to consent to be contacted.

I went to the website to get more information on Design Thinking courses. To get a course outline and description, you have to enter your email address and phone number, and then you can download materials. I did that and then received the download. Shortly after, I started getting emails and a call from BrainStation to meet with their Learning Advisors. I got 5 emails, 1 call, and someone visited my ******** page from July 19 - 23, 2022.

The first email occurred on July 19th and the second email was on July 21st. Both were sent by Amy H*** and were asking to follow up. A 3rd email was sent on July 22nd and I responded to this one on the same day by stating that I wasn't interested in being contacted anymore and that I didn't need anymore information. I got what I needed. Then I received a call and saw someone from Brain Station visited my professional page on ********. Then a different person named Slavka T****** sent a 4th email on July 22nd. I followed up with Slavka too and said I already responded and asked to stop being contacted. They said they understood and now removed me from all list servs. Then I got a 5th email from Amy H*** on July 23rd so I let them know I already asked to be removed and their colleague Slavka told me I'd been removed from the listserv. I responded on July 24th to Amy to let them know this and to ask, again, to stop being contacted.
