Better Business Bureau (BBB) received a customer inquiry about The Grow House Online Dispensary. A BBB investigation found on September 7, 2023 that The Grow House Online Dispensary does not have a license for businesses operating as Cannabis from the Liquor and Cannabis Regulation Branch (LCRB).
BBB sent two letters to the The Grow House Online Dispensary on September 7 and 21, 2023 to get information about their current license or supporting documents that show they do not need licensing.
As of October 23, 2023 BBB did not receive a response.
BBB urges consumers purchasing cannabis products to consider the following suggestions:

If you tried to cancel an order or you are unable to get a refund, you may wish to contact your credit card provider with the details of the transaction and request a reversal of the charges.

On September 7 and 21, 2023, BBB contacted the business regarding its online advertisement claims:
1. "The #1 Online Dispensary in Canada" and "As a leading online dispensary, we take pride in offering a guaranteed and reliable platform for purchasing premium cannabis flower, all while ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for our valued members." The ad failed to provide substantiation that relates to tangible qualities and performance values of a product or service.
2. Advertisers should ensure that testimonials and endorsement are not misleading and represent the current opinion of the endorser. We asked if they have explicit permission from their consumers to post.
3. "When it comes to buying top-quality cannabis in bulk at unbeatable prices, The Grow House stands out as your ultimate destination. As a leading online dispensary, we take pride in offering a guaranteed and reliable platform for purchasing premium cannabis flower, all while ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for our valued members." The ad failed to provide any applicable terms and conditions or their price match policy.
