    In December 2021 upon a recommendation from our designer we hired ****** Douglas DBA Douglas Solutions and/or DBA JM Solutions ********************************************************************, Cell ************, to build a custom wall unit. On a conference call which included our designer, we discussed the scope of work agreeing to pay a deposit of $6,600.00. Work was to begin at the end of January 2022 completion by the end of February 2022. It never happened the project was never done. ****** Douglas ghosted us not answering our calls or text messages. His email **************************** was discontinued.We have been fraudulently ripped off by ****** and we want our money back. See deposit invoice attachment.

    After filing a report with the *************** they were able to make contact with ****** Douglas and told him to contact us. The last contact was a text I received from ****** on April 9 2022 saying he was sorry, he had no intention of ripping us off, claiming he had had a meltdown and had no money to live on because a former client had not paid him. He claimed he would find a way to make it right.
    I responded to his text by text on April 11 2022 asking for proof that he had purchased the oak materials as he claimed along with a copy of the receipt for the purchase. I suggested a solution was possible if he was willing and able to do the work.
    He did not respond to my text and to date there has been no further contact.
