On January 22, 2018: BBB contacted CSM Education Inc via email and asked them to confirm their office location and head office and to clarify the nature of their business because by reading the company's websites it was not clear of kind of services they provide to consumers.
BBB also inquired the company if they offer any kind of membership or subscription because consumers who have contacted the BBB alleged they placed and paid online orders to receive books on survival skills but along with the orders consumers alleged they were automatically signed up on a membership with "United Survivalist Association" and a subscription with monthly fee charges. Consumers alleged they were not aware of the membership or subscription
