    Chad was hired to tile our shower and bathroom floor. I ****** had some conversation with him regarding what we wanted and then my husband messaged with him to finalize. We ended up deciding to hire him to do the work and he was at our house the week of Nov. 14-Nov 18th. He completed the job on Nov 18th with grouting the shower and floor being the last thing he did. Upon looking at the bathroom when I got home I realized he did a very unprofessional and poor job on the floor. He did not lay the tile well at all. We also noticed he didn't take enough time in measuring so the tile in the shower niches is also done poorly. Upon seeing the floor my husband emailed him to let him know we were very disappointed. He replied blaming it on us and the fact that it's an issue of a black on white contrast (white tile/black grout). He also added photos from another job he did that was not at all the same tile/grout combination as our tile and said had we chosen a different grout colour it wouldn't look like that. My husband then emailed a response and heard nothing back. I then also messaged him through his ******** business page and he blocked me from contacting him and he did not respond. He never expressed any concerns about being able to lay the floor tile and doing black grout prior to doing the job. The only thing he said to me was "are you sure you want to do penny tile" to which I replied yes. He never said anything to that again. We did pay him as we were very frustrated and initially didn't want to start a dispute. Unfortunately we really can't allow him to get away with leaving a customer's home looking like this without any resolution at all. He claims he prides himself on his work but that is definitely not what he this shows let alone the fact there was no apology or attempt to fix the issue. We are now going to need to get someone in to fix it which means we are not only out money on labour but the money we spent on the product. ****** ******** ** ***** * ********
