    Mohani Event Design Order **. I hired this company to supply decor for my wedding on August 20, 2022. Included in the cost was a staff labour setup and takedown fee ($650.00 and $520.00). Setup was to be on Friday August 19, 2022 and take down was to be on Sunday August 21, 2022. Friday a delivery truck arrived with just the driver (no staff labour) and my own family had to unload all of the chairs for both the outside ceremony and indoor reception. A forklift had to be scheduled twice inconveniencing the owners of the property because Mohani did not come with all of the decor/staff at once. On the day of the wedding many of the decor items which were paid for had issues - charger plates $600 had to be individually cleaned as they came dirty, vases ($480 and $40) could not be used as they had stickers on them, melted wax from other events or were extremely dirty. A table was rented for the wedding party ($300) which did not arrive until right before the ceremony which they were painting due to the scratches etc. Finally, on Sunday my wedding planner called to ask if pickup for the decor could be done on Monday as Mohani was too busy on the Sunday. I again coordinated with the owners of the property for Monday morning decor takedown at 930am. My family once again had to do everything. There was no staff to take down as paid for at all. There was one man with a pickup truck there for tables, that is it. Everything else sat on the owners property where we had to move it to. At 1230pm still nothing had been picked up. I have contacted Mohani (Pamela) several times but email and phone she is not refusing to speak to myself or the wedding planner. I have pictures of everything and my wedding planner is happy to discuss anything further. I do not expect to be refunded the whole amount but I do expect a refund of both staff labour costs and the cost of the vases - total, $1690.00. It should be noted that due to other issues more could be refunded, I am being reasonable.
