  **** ******* ruined our floors. 1 Day Hardwood Floor Refinishing sent him in *******, *******. Both **** and 1 Day Hardwood Floor Refinishing have stopped answering me about the quality of the work and a refund. **** and his partner *** ******** showed up to my house and didnt sand properly so the stain didnt take. He also didnt have any stains we originally wanted but decided to finally admit that after he sanded. You can see many areas throughout every room where the stain didnt take because of his sanding and sanding marks everywhere. He said there was nothing that could be done and started sealing the floors before telling us. The seal is so rough you can no longer slide across the floor. He said there was nothing that could be done about the colour, and perhaps that's why it was the way it was to begin with. So after destroying the way the floors looked and making countless excuses, we asked about how they felt. He said he would return to do another coat of seal and stopped answering. At this point we asked for a refund so we could have a proper team come in and execute the project. He hasn't answered since. I spoke with other contractors from this company and they pay for leads to get jobs. One took my info when I said **** was no longer answering us and I wanted to get in touch with whoever was in charge. This man said ****** is in charge. The next contractor I spoke with from another area told me the head office is in ********* and there is no way for me to contact the company. I was able to contact a number in *********, and the man ***** who answered said ******* been in ****** for the last two years and he is most in charge. He said he has no idea who **** ******* is, and that there is no way this job came from their company. I assured him their website and company portal gives you **** in the ******* area! He said he was not discounting what happened... but needed to figure out who this guy even is. My number is restricted now from contacting 1day.

  He was not able to provide us a receipt he did not have the paperwork available. Here is a copy of the screenshots where the contractor was speaking with us. We reached out through the 1day floor refinishing company, and was contacted directly by **** at this number.

  I paid the money to **** ******* the contractor that 1day refinishing sent to our house. 1 day refinishing is stating they have customer satisfaction etc, and this man they sent ruined our floors. If we cannot get ahold of the man who they sent, should they not be held accountable? **** refused to provide us an invoice. This company did not require their contractor to provide an invoice.
