? WARNING: REFUSED TO RETURN MY DEPOSIT & BLAMED MY BANK COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL ?I am leaving this review to warn future tenants about my experience with this company, and particularly with their management. After moving out, they issued me a cheque for my $318 deposit which was returned by the bank due to either insufficient funds or a stop payment. I was shocked, but even more shocked at what followed.Despite being legally obligated under the Residential Tenancy Act of **************** (Section 38) to return the deposit within 15 days, they failed to do so and then pretended not to know the cheque had been returned. This is completely dishonest.?? Banks ALWAYS notify the issuer when a cheque is returned. I personally confirmed this with several financial institutions. So for them to act as if they didnt know is a lie or an attempt to blame me for their mistake.Instead of fixing the issue when I brought it to their attention, they demanded that I prove it with personal bank statements. Then they arrogantly responded:> "I look forward to receiving your claim."This is the level of professionalism they operate with: zero accountability, zero urgency, and zero respect for the law or for tenants.?? They refused to pay what they owed, and basically mocked the legal process. Ive since filed an official complaint with the Residential Tenancy Branch (RTB) and I encourage anyone experiencing similar issues to do the same. Tenants have rights and these companies should not be allowed to bully or deceive people just because they assume no one will fight back. This kind of behavior is unacceptable, unethical, and possibly illegal.
