    I enrolled in a Berlitz Language Class in October 2023. I had issues with accessing the class but eventually I was given the course log in and started a few classes behind. On November 20th I met with the program director to tell her that the classes were not structured in the way I was told during the initial sign up. We agreed to move courses into a different level with the same instructor. I started the second course in December 2023 with the same instructor. Again, the curriculum was not what I was told and I asked to drop the program in January 2024. I did not receive any more communication from Berlitz until March 2024. They replaced me in a new program in April 2024 with a new instructor. I kept track of the courses that I had taken to that point, I had taken 48 courses but paid for 120. By June 2024 I had completed as much of the second level as I could. Originally when I enrolled in December 2023 I had 6 months to do the courses but with the way Berlitz moved me around I no longer had time to complete Level 2 and 3. On June 14th I have an email that states "Don't worry, we can pause your program, also remember you have plenty of credit available to use when you decide to return to your classes." At that point I requested a refund for what I had paid and did not hear back. The summer got busy and I forgot about the credit owed to me. In January 2025 I was contacted by Berlitz to notify me that I had an outstanding balance and that they were sending me to collections. I tried to resolve the issue with the representative that contacted me and I shared the many emails I had about my experience. He agreed to look into it and in the end sent me an email is early March stating that I did not speak to the right person about the refund and that the person I spoke to wasn't authorized to issue a refund. I would like to have this issue resolved please by removing the credit charge by the collections agency. I am not seeking compensation.
