    I am filing this complaint regarding my experience with [Clinic Name] during a consultation for scar revision treatment on November 21, 2024, at 11:30 AM. The consultation revealed issues with misleading pricing, lack of transparency, and inadequate value for the consultation fee, all of which I believe warrant BBB investigation.Before booking my appointment, I was quoted a price range of $350$750 for the procedure. However, during the consultation, I was quoted $750the highest end of the rangedespite the doctor acknowledging that my scars were minor and well-healed. The quoted range was a key factor in my decision to proceed with the $250 consultation fee. This discrepancy feels deceptive, as the lower range seems to have been used to attract clients and secure consultation fees rather than reflect realistic pricing.The $250 consultation fee was stated to cover services. During the appointment, I was informed that the treatment would involve two stages: cream application and laser therapy. When I asked if the cream application could be included in the consultation fee, I was told it could not. This lack of inclusion raises questions about the value provided for such a significant fee, which ultimately amounted to a brief conversation and no actionable service.The cost quoted for my treatment$750is highly disproportionate to the procedures scope. The treatment involves only seven small scars, each approximately 3 cm in length, yet the pricing is comparable to fractional laser therapy for the entire face, which typically costs $500$600. I declined numbing as the scars are small and the procedure minimally invasive, yet I was still quoted at the highest end of the range.
