  We recently made the move from the mainland to the island. We had visions of ocean breezes, artisan shops, and eclectic restaurants. What we did not envision was the expensive, high-pressure tactics of many of the moving companies contacting us once our home listed.We were delighted to find, after a brief internet search, a company that enjoyed a high number of wonderful reviews. We contacted BC Movers who immediately sent someone to our home to walk through, develop a price, and promise to be on time, careful, and solution oriented.That is exactly what BC Movers delivered, along with our furniture and possessions. ***** is an excellent communicator, and I always felt informed. Although moving can be daunting, ***** explained the process clearly and kept the move running smoothly.The four movers who packed our belongings into two trucks were respectful of our things, respectful of our home, and respectful of our time. They were accommodating to some special requests and were easy to work with. They responded well to our several requests for time confirmations, proof of ferry reservations, and our desire to have them do a final walk through with my husband.Arriving on the Island the next day, they were again on time, polite, happy, and eager to unpack our things where and how we wanted them. One of the most important things to us is none of their staff smoked. In a previous move, we were concerned at the movers not only taking smoking breaks frequently, but placing their smoke-smelling hands on our fine furniture. I shared that info with BC Movers, and ***** promised me we would not have those same challenges. He was absolutely correct.***** and the crew were so kind, fast, and always friendly. It was the best move we have made thus far in our lives, and the best movers! I do not hesitate to recommend these folks for local or long distance moves. A delightful experience for us.   Moving made simple We are a provincial non-profit organization and found ourselves looking for a mover when we had the opportunity to locate into larger, brighter space. Moving an office can be anything but simple, yet but BC Vancouver Movers truly made it effortless.When our office staff began collecting quotes, the high process and reluctance to work with our limited budget created extra stress for staff. Contacting BC Movers resolved that challenge. ***** not only came through with the most affordable price, but he also accommodated our tight deadline, all while coordinating two separate pick-up locations for the move.Our team was incredibly impressed with ***** and Manuels remarkable efficiency and the sheer speed with which everything was loaded and unloaded.   ******* crew of 3 men were just awesome ??. On time, professional, efficient, and super friendly! I'd recommend anyone that needs to move to hire BC Movers to do the job. They took care of our belongings and even helped us put together some of our new furniture. Made a hard move so much easier. Thanks guys!

  We recommend BCMovers without hesitation because of their professionalism in helping make the stress of moving less stressful. They were efficient and prompt right from the start. They arrived on time for the initial quote plus a second review and on moving day. They had answers to all our questions and had the additional special moving boxes for pictures, etc. that we had missed in our packing. The team worked hard and efficiently, each communicating well with us throughout the 2-day move, addressing any concerns, moving heavy items without issue and placing everything were we wanted . For a 2-day move to the Island we don't think the move could have gone smoother.

  This company is amazing. I initially contacted ***** and he came out to give a quote and some packing suggestions. Right from the start I was impressed with how organized and efficient the company is run. ***** is so polite and makes you feel at ease with a lot of unknowns with a long distance move. Moved to ********** from ******* and he was able to arrange storage and ferry bookings and movers on both sides. The actually movers were incredible on both sides. No job was too much effort for them. Lots of caution was taken with walls and hanging lights lights etc. A shout out to **** as well who helped with the move on the Parksville side. They assembled the furniture and even added some felt buffers. I had a very heavy sofa to navigate and they did it with ease, They kept moving it around until everything looked just perfect. I couldnt be happier with this move. This company is top notch, no need to look further when considering a move! Thank you so much!

  From our initial contact with BC Movers to the last load of belongings through the door of our new space, ***** made our move more smooth and seamless than we could have imagined. Transparent, diligent, and friendly throughout the entire process - ***** and **** were professional and trustworthy.   I cannot begin to express how great BC Movers and all the crew have been through out our moving process. From the initial site visit with ***** for the estimate, to the move out and move in, the whole experience was stellar.Most importantly, everything that BC Movers promised was delivered and more.Our move was complex for us as we moved from Vancouver to ******** with a lag time of five days before we could move into our new home. For this reason, the trucks were loaded, stored in the BC Movers secure facility and then delivered to ******** five days later.Initially, we believed that we would be able to fit everything on one five-ton truck but a second one-ton truck was needed. **** visited us the evening before move-out to reassess everything and ensured that extra trucks, packing materials and moving blankets were at the ready.Four crew members worked hard (including ********************** and ****) to move all of our furniture and belongings out of our three-level home efficiently and with care - including numerous antiques - two notably with antique glass doors. I was most concerned about an antique barristers bookcase. The crew carefully wrapped and loaded the components and it arrived in perfect condition. In fact, absolutely everything arrived in perfect condition.***** and **** delivered the one-ton and five-ton trucks to our new address on the Island and worked hard to unload and ensure that boxes and furniture went where we needed them to be. A bed that they disassembled at move-out was reassembled its new space.The crews for move-out and arrival at our new home were punctual (early in fact), helpful and kind. This company is off the chart in terms of stars - economical and efficient. They deliver on their promises and I am so grateful for their work in making the transition to our new home as seamless as possible.

  I highly recommend BC Movers. We moved from Vancouver to the island and of 6 companies, they were the best price by a fair margin. Dealing with ***** was a pleasure. Great attitude, good communication, and boy we're they fast at loading and unloading! We were very impressed and happy to have worked with them!

  From start to finish ******** to Vancouver my experience with bc movers- was awesome!!! They were so polite, worked within my time frame, and everything showed up in one peice, and they left things neat and tidy- communications were clear and I never had to worry about anything- they handled it all, and updated me along the way I highly recommend this team of movers, they made moving so much easier, the best experience I have had with moving yet. If I ever have to move again- this will be the team and company I use. Thanks again!!!

  Im so glad I chose ** Movers to move us from North Vancouver to *****, Vancouver Island. ***** and his team took such good care of our things, are trustworthy, and are very hard working. Pricing was very much reasonable, having gotten a lot of quotes. Moving is stressful; hire these guys and make your life easier.
