Home Run Movers are dishonest, unprofessional, and I cannot recommend enough staying away from this company. This has been the worst moving experience of my life. Not only was a number of pieces of my furniture damaged during the move, but my couch has been taken from me and held by this company for over 20 days now. During the move I was told that ** ****** the owner had damaged my couch and he needed to take it back with him to get it repaired. Well my couch is now being held hostage as the company refuses to communicate with me, or answer my inquiries on where I can come get the couch. Even my requests for a photo of the damage have been ignored this entire time. Instead of taking responsibility, they have decided to hold my couch hostage going on 20 days now and promised repairs that never happened. They even lied about contacting a repair company. When I followed up myself, the repair company confirmed Home Run Movers never reached out despite their false claims of trying to after having my couch stored for over a ******* a matter of fact the only answer I really got was the owner ** threatening me with some "harsh words" just for asking about my couch.Instead of just sending me photos of the damage or actually contacting the repair company, he instead became aggressive and dismissive, proving how little he cares about his customers. Not only was my stuff damaged but they were 2 hours late for both the pick-up and drop-off. This caused major issues, including problems with my buildings elevator since I had *********** this point they still refuse to let me pick up my own couch. Instead of just returning my property, they have held it hostage for weeks, forcing me to escalate this issue to Consumer Protection BC and take legal action. They are dishonest, unreliable, and completely unprofessional. If you care about your belongings and your peace of mind, do not trust them with your move. Find a company that actually values its customers.

Were truly sorry for the frustration youve experienced with your move. Our track record shows our efforts are wholeheartedly focused on results everyone can appreciate.Your sofa hasnt been stolen or held hostageits in our storage because, as you know, it wouldnt fit in your apartment, despite our advance notice onsite and extended efforts to demonstrate this. It was regrettably damaged outside your storage place when a windstorm blew it over, sustaining minor flaws. As youre aware, were arranging repairs now that its been professionally cleaned. I should note you havent paid for your move and didnt opt for Replacement Value Protection, which would have covered cleaning and repair costs. Still, I took on this task as a goodwill gesture. I regret not acting faster and updating you sooner. Running Home Run Movers demands a lot from me daily to keep things on trackI do my best. I also regret that youve taken this to the web, but here we are. The harsh words textwe can exchange harsh words now or talk nicely laterwas meant to keep our talk civil, not to threaten. At 2:40 p.m. on any given day, Im likely driving a moving truck, leading a move, packing a truck, or carrying itemsnot an ideal time for phone conversation. As for being 2 hours late to your move locations, this was a long-distance move to and from ******* in winter on the ******************* stretch known for its unforgiving, unpredictable conditions. Safety, not speed, was the priority. Add valley congestion, construction, and downtown traffic snarls, a tricky low ceiling loading bay, and even the best plans can falter. Your other accusations are unfortunate, but not entirely truthfulsome are outright misinterpretations or lies. Ive addressed each in a detailed email sent to you.

STOLE MY FURNITURE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY My experience with Home Run Movers has been nothing short of a nightmare. My husband and I trusted this company to move our furniture, and what they did was not only unprofessional but criminal. They stole my couch and have been illegally withholding it for over 20 days. After they claimed my couch was damaged during the move, they convinced my husband to trust them and allow them to take it back on the truck for repairs. We agreed, but when we tried to follow up on the repair, asking for pictures or even just a simple update, we learned that no one from Home Run Movers, neither ** nor ******* ever contacted the upholstery company we all agreed they would use to repair my supposedly damaged couch. When we confronted ** about his lies, he then threatened us with harsh words before going completely radio silent. We made attempts to come and pick our couch up, even showing up to their business address stated on ***** ** in numerous places. However, when we showed up, it appears as if their business does not actually operate from this location (which is a deceptive business practice). On top of this, the move was a nightmare. They showed up 2 hours late not only when picking the furniture up, but also 2 hours late when dropping it off, causing unnecessary delays and stress. The damage to our furniture was staggering: our dinner table was chipped in several places, our large mirror frame was cracked, and many of our expensive dinner plates and bowls were either chipped or completely broken as their incompetent movers blatantly ignored fragile labels on boxes and stacked them improperly.Clearly "Home Run Movers" is unprofessional, dishonest, & negligent. They have stolen my property, damaged my belongings, and now refuse to respond to any communication. They are breaking BPCPA laws and my husband and I have now escalated matters with the ***** and filed a formal complaint.AVOID!!!!
