    Date of Transaction: May 28,2023-May 29, 2023 We were informed by our previously contracted truck that there is no availability for ** for our scheduled move out date. Due to time constraint and panic we ******* moving companies that could help us and landed in this company. At first, the owner/manager *************************** was accommodating and said hed be willing to help **, he priced ** ***** for the move and asked a downpayment of ****. We obliged. After that, the communication got wishy washy and when I asked him for set time that they could come and pick up our stuff he got annoyed and was downright **** I was asking because we need to set up a time window with our strata management. I was more than polite and even apologized for annoying him about asking for a time which should be standard procedure but apparently was a burden to him, he told me to ask him again on the next day at 10:30 am and said he could give me a set time by then. I asked for a detailed quote and receipt he said h*** give it to me next day and basically shrugged me off. Come next day, I texted, no response, called thrice, no response, I did not get a response till I asked to cancel he said he could not give me back our money despite us offering to deduct a cancellation fee. After stating that how he is being unfair and has no contract whatsoever provided for any cancellation policy he is claiming that entitles him to hold on to all of our money he blocked me and I was not able to get ahold of them again. We felt we got taken advantage of, *********** and *******. We understand how we should have done more background check but we thought they were reputable as they have comments going back to 7 years. It is not right what they did, and no matter what spin they do with this, I see it as a ************ and unjustified to be done to anyone who is in need of help.
