Had a big wedding event at the ******** on Oct 22. Booked last minute first time at Chi Chi Nails as close by to get manicure and pedicure done on Oct 21. Inform manager and owner? Chris that I wanted an experienced attendant as wanted a good job. He confirmed and made the booking then called me to come in about 2 hours earlier as have staff avail. I noticed the tub and surrounding areas not cleaned and the attendant has used equipment with nail debris and soiled towel. I asked for clean towel and clean nail utensils and she insisted they were all clean and state she does not speak english. She then took a large sharp kitchen grater and forcefully grated my feet when I told her to stop, it was painful and started bleeding. She scuffed the skin at the back of my heel (above heel) and it bled profusely! I asked for a gauze and she did not have one so got a cotton which I applied pressure, chris came by and saw it. He was nervous, stood near her and directed her how to do the french pedicure which was all slanted! The cuticles were not pushed back, nail not shaped or sanded but rushing to get pedicure done. He gave me a bandaid and brought out polysporin as I informed him I was a Nurse and requested it. He informed the attendant to change the bandaid and apply the polysporin before I leave as blood was still oozing and she did not do any foot or leg massage as other attendant was doing. When I informed Chris that my attendant was doing substandard service as compared to the next attendant, he indicated that Tau was just learning and that he would not charge for the service. He spoke to her in their ethnic language and nervously left when he saw her trimming and breaking my finger nails only not to return.Tau then applied glue to fix the broken nails but it was irreparable. She and him then tried to convince me to have plain nailpolish as french cannot be done. Clear was applied then upon leaving I was forced to pay $93 which Tau now speaking fluent english demanded .

I am rejecting this response because:

We have contacted this salon about a dozen times and they seem to be playing games.
They are not wanting to refund my credit card, always making excuses : don’t know how to process refund: incident never happened: no knowledge of this: will need to call police; no directions from owner etc

    ** ******* **** ********* ******* ****** ******* *** ******* **** ****** **** **** **** ********** ** **** . The owner or manager never reached out to me to see how I was doing given the injury I sustained. In fact they deny it !!
