      Filled out and application for individual coverage on worksafe bcs website for a sole proprietorship for myself so that i could see what coverage would cost, they gave me a quote for close to 2000$ so I exited out of the application.

      Several months later I received a bill after NOT opting in for coverage online, after NOT receiving a confirmation email or any sort of documentation stating that I opted in for individual coverage and after NOT signing an e-document or any other waiver confirming I would pay said amount.

      I never had any confirmation sent to me at all not by mail, not by phone, not by email, I had ZERO indication that a file had been started for me, and ZERO supporting documents.

      There was an error with their application process that nobody could help correct, the only resolve they could come up with was canceling the plan and still making me pay 1100$ for the 6 months I was apparently insured after receiving ZERO confirmation from anywhere that I was covered so I disputed it and they sent me to collections for an amount I never agreed to or received any supporting documents that stated my application was processed and active or I would have canceled right away.

      Usually when you sign a major contract there is a confirmation process that takes place and they send coverage details via email or mail when an application is processed No? Without supporting documentation how is an individual to know terms of a contract especially after no paperwork was exchanged.

      I never would spend close to 2000$ on coverage and for them to stick me with this bill is absolute insanity and the lack of help when it came to resolving this issue was disheartening to say the least, I would like recommendations as to how to proceed with this issue.
