      Hi Officer ** unit has dirty water flooded issue casued by the hydrflushing maintainence in the 3rd floor above my unit last thursday. The pacificwest mechnical company which doing the work is hired by the *** alliance strata managerment company. Now the both companys are refused to take respobility for casued this issue. Now i can't live in my unit and made me so stressful and i didn't do anything wrong but why should i cover the lost from they are unprofession work. Thank you.

      AWM Alliance acts as Agents for the ****************** and at the instructions of our client, coordinates repair and maintenance to the common property. The Customer (Owner of the Strata Lot) is responsible to repair and maintain their Strata Lot in accordance with the Bylaws of the ****************** and is further responsible to maintain individual insurance coverage for their home. It is understood the Customer does not have individual home insurance.

      The ************** who is elected to govern the ******************, is the party which must make its own determination on the responsibility of the Corporation in these circumstances, based on legal advice, including but not limited to the responsibility of the maintenance contractor who performed the work. AWM supports the rights and responsibilities of all Strata Lot Owners pursuant to the requirements of the Strata Property Act and relevant Bylaws of the ******************; however, rejects the customer complaint as being applicable given our role as the Agent.
