    Today August 14, 2024 I purchased parking at the building I work at. I don't often park where I need to pay but today I needed to. I work at ******************************************************. There is underground parking available at this location. I needed about 2 hours of paid parking, which I was happy to pay. However when I went to the machine to purchase the portion of parking required the only option the machine allowed me was the full days rate, total $11.00. It would not allow me half a day or the hourly options to picks. I arrived at the lot just after 3pm, I know earlier in the day the machine allows for hourly and half day options. so at some point this machine doesn't allow that anymore and forces a customer to pay $11.00 instead of $4.00 hourly. It's not right for the company to force me to pay more. Now granted I am choosing the lot, but I don't understand why their machine allows hourly and half day earlier in the day but then reverts to full day sometime in the afternoon. This is the basis of my complaint. I needed 2 hours, which should be $8.00 but the machine forces a whole day rate of $11.00. This is not the only time I have had to pay like this, but I am simply fed up with this. In fact late 2023 around October, I wrote a letter to my work and copy to Quadreal, the basis of that letter was more involved and including things not relevant to this complaint, however in the letter I did specifically reference how the machines are overcharging. And nothing has been done. I have many work colleagues who also deal with this and overpay a machine that removes the option for hourly pay. Now I believe the company has an app that still allows the hourly option. I am confused why an app can allow it but the very machine in the parking lobby cannot. I should not have to download a third party app when a perfectly usable machine is in place. I believe this company has been doing this purposefully for some time now. Please Help

    I would first like to apologize to ****** for any inconveniences this situation may have caused. I have spoken to our contact at *************** and they feel this may have been caused due to a glitch in the machines which will be looked into and rectified right away. ****** is correct in that both the App and the machine should be work the same way, so rest assured we will have this corrected. We will be refunding the full amount to ****** for the inconvenience caused and would ask that he reach out to me directly with any future questions as I would be more than happy to help. 

    I would like to note that since we changed parking providers in June of 2023, there have been a number of glitches that have surfaced along the way which we continue to work to get resolved. I can assure you that providing the best service possible to our tenants is of utmost importance to me and will always welcome any feedback in order to improve where possible.

    After several years of my mom living here & never missing a $2000/month rent payment, she was informed that they were no longer re-offering her a lease. That's it. No explanation, no reasoning, nothing. Keep in mind, this was after having several noisy Neighbours, Neighbours who smoked in their unit CONSTANTLY and they had major construction renovations on the same floor in other units which they didn't inform her about, didn't ask to relocate her and failed to clean up after their completed work each day. ** *** ******* *** ** *********** ******* *** ***** *** ** ******* ******* ****** **** ***** So needless to say, after she ******** got pretty much kicked out of her unit, she had to scramble and attempt to find somewhere to live. ** * ******* ****** ***** ** * ***** ****** *** *** ** *** *** **** ****** **** ******* ****** ********* Which is fair because she wasn't financially preparing for a move out of the blue. (This is Spring/summer of 2022)I lived with my mother while I was ** ******* and moved out of her place July 2020. I informed the office vocally that I was moving out and asked to book an elevator. I also stopped paying for my monthly parking as, of course, I moved out.Now I have soon to find out because of a collections file on MY credit report, ********************* and the management of this company, never took me off the lease, even though I voiced my departure in July 2020 and NEVER signed the 2021 lease. I am stuck fighting for this collection payment to be taken off of my credit report. I haven't lived here for 2.5 years and they are now coming after me, at the failure of processes in this office. I have sent them a copy of the unsigned 2021 lease, my lease's with my new apartment buildings and they still expect me to pay for the owing amount. I don't think I should be at fault here for the remaining amount due ($915) considering I haven't lived at this property since July 2020? Please help as this has been a nightmare to deal with :/
