  I found ******** and his crew to be very attentive to details and they left my yard as they found it. The roof was installed efficiently and correctly but the actual point that Id like to highlight the most is the fact that their original quote ended up being over $1k more than the actual cost for the job (the og quote was factoring in a total replacement for the roof sheathing, which turned out to be unnecessary after the old roof was removed- the sheathing was mostly good, but for a couple of key areas); they summarily adjusted the quote accordingly. I like dealing with honest people and this made me a happy customer and as a result , would definitely recommend.

  Norton Roofing Systems installed a shingle roof and 3 flat roofs on my mother's house, and we couldn't be more pleased with the work. Mr. Reg Norton is highly professional but very friendly and approachable. Upon being contacted, he promptly examined the roofs and provided a separate estimate for each one. The quotes were competitive and fair. Because the house is 100+ years old and previous roofers had simply put new roofs over the old ones, there were a number of serious problems, including dry rot. Due to his 40+ years of roofing experience, Mr. Norton was able to solve all the issues he encountered. Not only was the work done meticulously, it was done in the most cost-effective way. E.g, instead of hiring a company to set up a scaffold, Mr. Norton rented the scaffolding and put it up himself. He kept us updated with calls, texts, and photos. If he encountered an issue during the day, he called or texted to discuss how to handle it. His explanations were always clear and detailed. When necessary, he worked on the weekend to complete a job. He was always accommodating and adjusted his time according to our schedule. Mr. Norton also has experience as a builder and was able to do the structural work himself. He stated once that when working on a house, he treats it as if it were his own. If he noticed a problem other than a roofing one, he mentioned it. E.g., he saw an area of pooling on the driveway, discussed various solutions, and subsequently constructed a soakaway, which dealt very effectively with the water. In addition, he gave us advice regarding home maintenance, suggesting, for example, the purchase of an electric leaf blower. He even left his own leaf blower so we could try it out. Not long after the roofs were completed, our region was hit with a series of rain storms, including two atmospheric rivers. The roofs withstood the storms and the interior of the house was completely dry. We will definitely be contacting Mr. Norton again regarding future work.

  Norton Roofing Systems was the second roofing company we called after we started painting our house and discovered that the chimney needed fixing. When the first ****** didnt show up, I called Norton Roofing. The first time I spoke to Reg, it was clear that he could be depended on. He showed up when the weather permitted and did the job as promised. This included cleaning our ****-covered chimney, doing repairs, creating air-flow openings, adding a cap and more. He went well beyond what would normally be expected of a ******, and his will be the company we call next time.

  *** is multi-talented since he was able to fix our chimney, roof, and gutter. This saves hiring separate companies for these tasks. He showed us pictures of his finished work. Quite honest and reliable company. Reasonable pricing. I will be hiring Reg for future jobs.

  Norton roofing was a wise choice. *** is straight up and takes pride in his work. Rare quality these days. We've been dealing with c*** contractors for the last few months so finding Reg has been a welcome change. Despite being an older home, *** didnt take it as an opportunity to cut corners or do a half a** job. Hes been diligent and I have no doubt will stand behind his work.

  I cannot say enough good things about Reg Norton. Reg has taken on a number of projects for me this year including adjusting a roof line; installing new fascia boards; rebuilding a brick chimney ; installing liners for new tankless water heaters; and repairing holes in a chimney and wall from the replacement of water heaters. Each of these jobs was done to a high quality and Reg walked me through what he was doing and why at each step. On several occasions *** had to wait for other contractors to finish their work (plumber, other roofer, etc.) and yet *** would still come out to make sure they were doing a good job or fix their mistakes. *** didn't charge a ***** more for this, which is really incredible in this day and age. His prices are more than fair; he is upfront about costs, he doesn't trick you with hidden costs later, and he doesn't leave you with cut-corners or a partially finished job. Having now worked with a bunch of contractors on my house, ***'s work is by far the best value I have seen. More than anything, he is an honest and decent guy that I trust to do good work.

  Reg recently serviced my chimney that needed repointing and had been allowing moisture to weep down into the attic. The flashings were also in need of attention and repainting. We are very happy with the result and with ***'s work. He seems to take pride in his craft, left things neat and tidy, and didn't scratch up our new gutters with his ladder! All in all, it was a job very well done and *** seems like an honest hard-working professional - just the kind of person you want working on your house!

  My house had a leaky roof that over the last 30 plus years had been unsuccessfully repaired, replaced and repaired again and again. After 30 plus years of leaking, there was a great deal of dry rot in my attic. In conjunction with replacing my roof, *** also dealt with the dry rot. *** conceived of a solution and executed it perfectly in 2022. During the winter of 2022-2023, it was very wet and we experienced unusually heavy snowfalls. The roof that Reg installed was 100% waterproof and for the first time, I felt my house was protected by a very good roof.I believe Reg Norton is the best roofer a homeowner or business could wish for. He is experienced, knowledgeable, hardworking, a perfectionist and honest. He will think outside-of-the-box to come up with the best solution for your roof. He is a man who enjoys his craft, loves a challenge and has pride in his work. **************

  Reg N***** is very hardworking and knowledgeable. He does an excellent job. The work is done safely and the clean up afterwards is very good. With his experience he can find a solution for all sorts of problems. We are very happy with the roof vents and chimney work he did for us in June 2023.   Norton Roofing recently completed a thorough repointing & repair for my south & north chimneys. Reg is such a highly experienced and detail oriented professional. During the project, worksite was always kept safe and organized. And, worksite was sparklingly cleaned from my rooftop, siding... down to the ground by the end of the project. My family is very happy with Norton Roofing's quality repointing and repair. Looking at our newly/beautifully repointed 2 chimneys has become a daily delightful thing.
