    *********************** of Earnest Events was supposed to be my day of coordinator for my wedding. She was booked by me in March 2022 to work on Sept 3rd from 2:30pm-12:30am. Her fee was $50/hour plus travel, which was $359.97. So total paid to her via e-transfer was $859.97. I had texted her on Aug 27 to confirm her coming to the rehearsal that was on Sept 2 and paid her the final deposit (no invoice was given for this payment). Then, on Friday Sept 1st at 10pm or so she emailed me saying that she was in the ** and may need ********* *******. Which is so horrible and I wouldnt wish it upon anyone but she did not offer a refund or an apology even. I asked if she could send a replacement, and she messaged me the next morning (Sept 2) saying she was reaching out to a contact and that she needed surgery but she would get back to me. I have not heard from her since then. I understand that things happen and emergencies are unavoidable. But not having any back up or not even apologizing for ruining my wedding day was just a bit too much for me after the poor communication she had had in the last year. I emailed her Tuesday, Sept 5 asking for a refund for the fees and the travel costs (she was coming from *********) as she did no service for me (I planned my entire wedding) and she did not send a replacement. I have still not heard from her after emails from both me and my husband.

    I hired Myk R******* (also known as ******* ****) as my wedding day-of coordinator for 10 hours on my wedding day, as well as being at my rehearsal dinner the day prior. I e-transfered her 4 deposit payments between August 2022 and August 2023 for a total of $600. Myk cancelled her services the morning of my wedding rehearsal dinner (August 11, 2023), and has not refunded me the $600 that I paid her for the services that she did not provide. I have called Myk, and requested a refund multiple times over email, and she has yet to refund me the $600. Myk gave me a few "excuses" as to why she hasn't been able refund me, all of which I do not find plausible. I sent Myk a demand letter on August 28, 2023 and I have not received any communication from her since. I am requesting a prompt refund of $600 from Myk R*******.

    I paid a deposit which I was told was refundable for a photoshoot and when I contacted Myk weeks ahead that this would need to be cancelled for personal reasons relating to the pregnancy, she took weeks to get back to me. I had to email, text and tried calling and took forever to hear back. When I did she said she was sending back my deposit and assures she did. When I asked her to confirm where she sent it to she wouldn't and went back to ignoring me. When I did hear back it was dismissive and just said I sent it on July 26th. I provided her with a screenshot of my transactions for that day and the days following to show that no transfer was received. I have continued to follow up and she will not respond to me. I really need to get this money back and she has completely stopped answering.
