    I phoned Ladies World in late October to cancel my membership. As it was close to Nov 1st the young lady told me I could use the gym until Nov. 30th. This week I checked my MasterCard and discovered I had paid membership for Dec. *** and now presumably February. I phoned immediately and was told I had two accounts. One was quite old and she told me it had been cancelled. She also asked me to come in and sign a form which I did today. I was told my account had not been cancelled, they do not cancel over the phone.well the first staff member should have told me that. Then I was asked to sign a form cancelling as of Feb 1st, I said the form needed to reflect I cancelled in Nov, she said she would do that and I signed electronically as she said she would email me a copy!! 10:30 am today. Unfortunately I did say I didnt need a hard copy. When I mentioned a refund she said not applicable as I had only just cancelled. Was I being accused of lying?? Or are the staff not doing their job and recording phone call cancellations. i put 4 stars as I have enjoyed Ladies World in the past and was required to give it a rating.
