    At the beginning of September Aquamist Carpet Care Ltd. was hired by our Strata to do remediation on our bathroom and closet, as well as our neighbours, to remove asbestos and mold. Part of this involved removing our shower tiling. Aquamist did not put any protection in our bathtub during the work and when we returned after the work was complete we came home to a bathtub covered in chips, dents and holes. It was appalling how absolutely no care was done to protect our tub. There were over 15 chips and dents, it was destroyed. Aquamist did not even mention the damage and we had to notice it ourselves and when they were confronted about it, they initially tried to brush it off as not a big deal. Aquamist eventually gave Strata $1000 off their bill for the damage ($500 for each owner), not even enough for a comparable tub to what they destroyed. This damage has delayed the new contracting company by over 2 weeks as a new bathtub had to be bought and installed. This has caused us to not have full use of our home as we do not have a functional bathroom. Their unprofessionalism and poor workmanship are appalling, and we will be telling everyone we know to avoid their business.
