    We had a company called BLueline Glass & Closets do a substantial amount of work on our new house. We had closets, glass mirrors, topless glass on our deck, and aluminum fencing, etc. We spent approximately $ 40,000. and we paid our last invoice April 11th 2022. On Aug 3rd 2022 we asked for a quote for more aluminum fencing to finish the front of the house. H. the owner of the company came and gave us a verbal quote, we asked him what it would be, he said approximately the same, but maybe a little more, because materials had gone up. We then asked how long, he said 3 weeks to have it done. After numerous phone calls and text messages from us to try and find out why it was taking so long, they finally installed it , 3 months. They sent us a invoice, Nov 30th 2022 and we were absolutely shocked at the cost that he was charging us. We sent him a email asking why it was so much, his reply was, material’s have gone up. We understand that materials have gone up, but not that much and if so, why didn’t he inform us ahead of time. The fencing we had installed before was, 42” high $ 43 L/f 72” high $ 75 L/f This time he charged us. 42” high $ 60L/f. 54” high $160 L/f So for the 54” high fence he more than doubled the price and yet, it as less materials in it. We realize things have increased, but not to this extent. So we don’t agree with the invoice that he has sent us. The invoice amount is. $9,775.50 We believe it should be closer to. $ 5,250.00
