    On 6/29/24, Island Floor Centre completed installation of new ********* flooring. The tile placement was perfect, but something went terribly wrong with the grout application, which left shiny patches/streaking everywhere. As well as tiny areas where grout is missing. I was told the product **** * **** would remove the shiny streaky marks. I thoroughly washed the floor, but the shiny patches/streaking remained.

    On 7/19/24, I contacted Project Manager **** *****, leaving a message expressing how concerned I was. He did not return my call. I washed the floor again to no avail.

    On 7/29/24, still not having heard from Mr. *****, I sent him an email including photos. Yet again he did not respond.

    On 8/1/24, I emailed General Manager **** *********.

    On 8/13/24, Mr. ***** and the ********* flooring rep, ***** ********, came to examine the floor. Mr. ******** suggested a stronger cleaning solution should fix the problem.

    On 8/26/24, *****, representing Island Floor Centre, spent over four hours cleaning the floor with the stronger solution. ***** estimated he was able to wash away or at least reduce the visibility of about 70-75% of the marks. I thought Mr. ***** would contact me.

    On 9/4/24, I called Mr. *****, asking what else they could try. He said he would call me back when he returned from vacation, but if I did not hear from him to contact him in mid-October.

    On 10/21/24, I called and left a message. Mr. ***** did not call me back.

    On 10/30/24, I sent Mr. ***** another email saying that unless Island Floor Centre was prepared to redo the floor, I was requesting a rebate of 25% of the cost of the project.

    On 11/7/24, Mr. ***** emailed me, asking to have an inspector look at the floor.

    On 11/11/24, I responded by reminding Mr. ***** that Mr. ********, the ********* rep, had inspected the floor back in August. I also asked, “If Island Floor Centre had wanted another inspection, why was this not requested months ago?”

    Mr. ***** has never replied.
