      Would never use Maxxam insurance in Penticton again. They insured my vehicle only because they were the insurance option via the dealership I purchased from. After a year had passed, my insurance was set up to be automatically renewed after I said I do not wish to have it renewed automatically. However, it did auto-renew.
      I went back to my regular provider after a year as I was not happy with the service Maxxam has provided. I called the local office on June 6, 2024, asking them to cancel, and they said they would. It was not cancelled. I called again on August 19 to cancel my policy again for the second time. Again, they said they would cancel and asked me to send in proof that I am insured elsewhere. I thought it was all taken care of. August 23, I noticed the payment is still coming out of my bank account, so had to send a third email to cancel again.
      2 occasions that I called Maxxam the person on the other end answered with a hello and not even stating where they work or who I called. No professionalism here. They don't seem to care or have a sense of urgency to help with my request.

      I have had issues two consecutive years with Maxxam not putting through my car insurance renewal to my insurance company. The first time I only found out because I had a mini fender bender and when I called Stratford in October, they said my insurance hadn’t been renewed in May. They hadn’t received my payment and renewed documents from Maxxam. This year I received a letter from Stratford saying my insurance had lapsed, when in fact I paid it in full at Maxxam on May 22. I called them and they confirmed they didn’t receive anything from Maxxam (yet again). I left two messages at Maxxam yesterday and asked to speak with the manager and was told she’d be in office in the afternoon. No call back. It’s now June 07 and I’m sitting here with [(? No)] no car insurance?
      Not a reliable provider and no one seems to care enough to call me back.
