      We worked with a mortgage broker in fall 2022 at the location and had a very bad experience. Every email contained errors, including our names (at least 6 times). Ultimately information was not disclosed to us that would have allowed us to switch mortgage brokers at a crucial moment. We were also promised an interest rate and then at closing found out that the broker had not confirmed with the bank in writing what that rate was. This led us to pay a much higher interest rate on our mortgage and because this information was withheld at a crucial point, we were unable to switch brokers. Wished we made that switch when we first noticed all the email errors and lack of attention to detail.

      This complaint is neither valid nor accurate. For privacy reasons, we cannot go into great detail, but a rate hold on a mortgage with a local credit union expired . According to their policies, a new and slightly higher rate was used in funding the mortgage. This is obviously beyond our control.
