My experience with them started on March 2024. I was referred to them by my family doctor to test for sleep apnea. After MedPro's diagnoses their findings came in that I had severe sleep apnea. They suggested I rent a devise kit for a four-week trial period to see if this improve my sleeping and if this helped I would have the opportunity to purchase the equipment for approx. $2500.00. On April 3 2024, I met with the clinic assistant of MedPro who handed me the zip lock bag with the device and a face mask for the trial rental period. She also asked for several documents to be signed and a $325.00 prepaid rental charge deposit for the four weeks. Within two hours of using the devise that evening I found that it did not work for me and made my situation worse. I brought back the zip lock bag with all of the equipment exactly how I received it the next day and asked for the refund of my pre-paid rental charge, less the one-day rental the device was out with me. To my surprise the clinic assistant was very stand offish and said there is no refund for me. After a short disagreement/discussion with her she referred me to the Regional Manager of MedPro. After several e-mails and text messages with the Regional Manager she was no different than the clinic assistant. I even mentioned to her that I would recover my rent money back through the courts however there was no difference in her attitude. Their story is that I purchased the face mask for $ 325.00 however there was no mention of any purchase at the time the bag with the equipment was picked up. The mask was not in a sealed plastic bag and was completely wide open and no GST and PST was charged as well. I'm left very discouraged with MedPro and felt I was in a sales scam to take money. I now even question if their diagnoses for people are even factual. I will be contacting my family doctor to have him place a report on his file about the business conduct of MedPro and I don't recommend anyone to use their services.
