I received an email from Drain Pro requesting a review, so here it is. On March 30, 2023, our TOTO dual flush toilet wasn't flushing so we phoned Drain Pro to come out and fix it. They took out the flushing part of the toilet and advised my husband that they would have to order a part. After a week of not hearing back I phoned the office and was advised it would be 6 weeks to 2 months for the part. Around mid-May they came back with the part. It was the wrong part. A few weeks later another plumber came with a part. Wrong part. It was for a single toilet flush. The plumber was extremely annoyed as it wouldn't fit and left in a huff to discuss with another plumber. Never heard from the plumber or the company again until April 29, 2024, asking for a review. They sent me a bill in April 2023 for $217.33. Breakdown - $150 plumber; $52 transportation & fuel, government health benefits & insurance; operational environment and $5 shop supplies ********. On June 6, 2023.

I went to ****** ****** **** *** *********** **** * ****** *** ***** **** ** ******* ****** ******* ********* ****** ****** *** went and got me the part I needed, I came home with it however we needed a seal so went back the next day and got the seal and the toilet was fixed. Jessica, an extremely efficient and a wonderful employee that knew her job. We never heard back from Drain Pro. They never contacted us regarding the unfinished plumbing job until April 29, 2024 wanting a review. **** *** * ******** **** ** *** *** ************ **** *** **** *** *** ******* ** **** * *** ***** ******. We will never recommend Drain Pro or use them again. The most inefficient and untrained company of plumbers we have ever dealt with.

I am astonished to receive a bill over 4 months since the very brief and shady encounter with Drain Pro Plumbing and Draining Ltd. (Victoria, BC). This bill is fraudulent, and I reject the invoice, initially received by email on Nov 22, 2023 and billed on July 23, 2023. When I contacted Drain Pro Plumbing and Draining Ltd. (Victoria, BC) to request assistance for my water heater, I was not provided, nor did I consent to, a consultation quote/estimate. Upon arriving at my home and briefly inspecting my water heater, the technician diagnosed the issue as a "dead PC board costing $3000 to replace not including labour". At that time, your technician demanded $400 for his brief consultation efforts - I flatly refused since, again, I was not provided nor did I consent to a consultation quote/estimate. Obviously, your technician promptly left without protest and Drain Pro Plumbing and Draining Ltd. (Victoria, BC) offered nothing other than a fraudulent bill over 4 months later. The manufacturer of my water heater, Rinnai Corporation (Toronto, ON), subsequently confirmed the PC board costs only $492 and was bewildered how I could be charged - please note I am quoting the service of Drain Pro- a "dead PC board costing $3000 to replace not including labour". Please further note I was referred a skilled professional by the manufacturer who found nothing wrong with my PC board and resolved my issue (documented in a full report) for only $288.75. I reject invoice, initially received by email on Nov 22, 2023 and billed on July 23, 2023. I am fully prepared and look forward to protecting my consumer rights.

These guys are the best! They have provided courteous immediate wonderful service for me on a number of occasions. A few years ago, the cold ruptured my water line into the house, and Drain Pro was here immediately, stopped the leakage and put in a new service into the house. On their last visit here, they serviced my furnace, and my own repair guy, who was here at the time, inadvertently closed off the gas supply to my water heater. When Jaeson, the owner, found out, he immediately sent Shane to relight my pilot light even though the problem was not caused by them- and they didn’t charge me for the extra visit. I can’t imagine better service. They will always be my go-to guys.
